
Taking place from Sunday, 5 July to Saturday, 11 July 2026, the AHDR Peace Camp – Reimagined will be held in Kornos, in the Larnaca district.
The camp offers a unique opportunity for young people aged 14–17 to meet peers from different communities across Cyprus, explore diverse perspectives, and take part in interactive peace education activities that promote dialogue, understanding, and cooperation.

What to Expect
Participants will:
- ➤ Take part in outdoor activities, team-building exercises, and creative workshops
- ➤ Join interactive peace-building sessions designed to strengthen critical thinking
- ➤ Work in teams on challenges that build confidence and collaboration skills
- ➤ Share accommodation with fellow participants
- ➤ Engage with topics such as human rights, dialogue, narratives, and multi-perspectivity
- ➤ Learn from experienced educators and facilitators
By participating, young people will also:

Who Can Apply
Applicants must:
- 👉 Be 14–17 years old as of July 5th, 2026 (born between July 6, 2008, and July 5, 2012)
- 👉 Be legally able to cross checkpoints
- 👉 Have at least B1-level English proficiency (no certificate required – Please find your level here)
Selection Process
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an Interview Day on April 19th, 2026. Attendance on the interview day is mandatory.

The AHDR Peace Camp Reimagined is funded under the scope of the ‘Imagine‘ project by the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The camp aims to foster trust among young people from all communities in Cyprus and equip them with the knowledge and skills to deconstruct stereotypes and misconceptions, critically examine dominant narratives, and engage in meaningful dialogue. Core activities are based on peace education, team-building, and outdoor education methodologies.
