Giannis Minas is the Financial and Operations Officer of the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR), responsible for the day-to-day financial and operational management of the organisation, including budgeting, financial reporting, and coordination of administrative processes in support of AHDR’s projects and activities. He also supports a range of projects, including the AHDR Peace Camp Reimagined, Study Visits, and the Educational Visit to Berlin.
He comes from Famagusta but was born and raised in Larnaca. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a direction in Accounting from the University of Cyprus and an AML/CTF ICA Certification. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.
He has been involved in various peacebuilding activities, most recently the Winds of Change Cyprus project, in which he participated as a crew member and ambassador. He is also the founder of RebEarth Cyprus, a volunteer-run environmental initiative that promotes community-based action.
