Melis brings diverse expertise in strategic consultancy, community building, entrepreneurship and project management, cultivated across various sectors in Cyprus, the UK, and the Netherlands, spanning both the private and non-profit domains.
She actively contributed as a board member at the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Women Community and as an active member at the Cyprus Women’s Health Research Society, highlighting her commitment to gender equality and community advancement. Melis has a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Leicester and a master’s degree in Cancer Therapeutics from Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London.
