Doğa K. Avseven began his academic journey in Social Psychology, later expanding his focus to Peace Studies. He completed his undergraduate degree at Loughborough University and earned a master’s degree through the United Nations Institute of Training and Research (UNITAR). Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in International Relations at Bahçeşehir University.
He has been involved in youth work since the age of 14, taking on various roles in organizations like EFPSA, Step Out Cyprus, and the Mental Escape Project. Primarily through study missions, Doğa has traveled to more than 30 countries to deepen his understanding of how different cultures impact the implementation of non-formal education methodologies. A milestone that he is particularly proud of is reaching Everest Base Camp at 18, making him the youngest Cypriot to do so.
