Dr. Asliye Dagman holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of East Anglia, UK, where she received an Arts and Humanities Research Council Award. With a strong academic background and extensive professional experience, she is committed to contributing to the AHDR's transformative initiatives in Peace, Antiracism, and Human Rights education. 

She has over twenty years of professional experience in both Cyprus and the UK, including as an international senior expert in the EU funded project “Improving Teaching and Learning through Continuous Professional Development and Inspection Mechanism.” In this capacity, she trained teachers and school leaders and developed various English language teaching modules that advocate for student-centered and inclusive pedagogical approaches. Additionally, Dr. Dagman played pivotal roles in higher education management, serving as the Director of the School of Foreign Languages and the Head of the Department of English Language Teaching at the University of Kyrenia. Her responsibilities included leading, monitoring, and supporting teams, managing curriculum development, maintaining quality assurance and overseeing students’ academic progress.
