Ümran is a Project Officer at the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR). She is an Economics Graduate with a Master’s Degree in Education, Gender and International Development from University College London (UCL) Institute of Education. Ümran most recently worked for UN Women Europe and Central Asia Regional Office as their Innovation and Private Sector Engagement Specialist. Prior to that she worked as a Management and Technology Consultant for a Multinational Firm. Ümran’s work with AHDR focuses on leading various projects engaging children, youth, teachers, civil society, educational authorities and other key stakeholders for Sustainable Peace Education in Cyprus.
