“Teaching for Peace” Award 2024 is an initiative by the AHDR, funded by the Federal Foreign Office of the Republic of Germany. As in 2023, the award aims to encourage and recognise the commitment of teachers to peace education and their efforts to broaden educational opportunities offered to students, contribute to the sustainability of peace education projects implemented in schools and give visibility to local peace education efforts.
