Evie is the Project Officer of the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research. She holds a BA in Primary Education from the University of Cyprus and an MA in Museum Studies, with a focus on Museum Education and Communication, from the University of Leicester. After her graduation, she has explored various fields of education, both formal and non-formal. She has developed educational programs in museums and archaeological sites, worked in afternoon schools and taught traditional dances. Evie has been actively involved in volunteering initiatives and youth organizations, such as Youth for Exchange and Understanding Cyprus, where she served as a member of the Governing Board. In 2017, she joined AHDR as an intern and later worked as a trainer in the project ‘Imagine’. She has been involved full time in the project since 2018 as a project assistant. Evie is interested in exploring innovative ways of engaging children and youth with history, heritage, museums and peacebuilding, as well as the ways educational institutions can fulfill their social roles and responsibilities.
