Since its establishment, the AHDR has had the opportunity to receive support from a variety of local and international bodies in order to work towards its aims and vision. We are most grateful to all those who have supported our work and continue to do so.

• The ‘Imagine’ Project and the Intercommunal Children’s Choir are funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
• The Phrasebook Project is funded by the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities
• The Columba-Hypatia Astronomy for Peace project, a collaboration between GalileoMobile and the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research, has received funding from the International Astronomical Union Office of Astronomy for Development and received donation of educational materials from Universe Awareness (UNAWE) and European Southern Observatory Education and Public Outreach Department (ESO).
• The ‘Home for Cooperation’ project benefits from a €591,000 grant from Norway through the Norway Grants 2009- 2014.
• The acquiring and renovation of the Home for Cooperation was supported by the EEA (European Economic Area) Financial Mechanisms by the donors Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, by individuals, organisations, local authorities in Cyprus and abroad, and the embassies of Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands, as well as the UNDP-ACT through funding from USAID.
• The Multiperspectivity and Intercultural Dialogue in Education (MIDE) was supported by the United Nations Development Programme - Action for Cooperation and Trust (UNDP-ACT).
• The research study, ‘Representations of History and Intergroup Relations in Cyprus’, was co-financed by the European Commission under the Cypriot Civil Society in Action Programme and UNDP-ACT under MIDE.
• The Fulbright Commission has supported a professional development opportunity for Cypriot educators in the US in connection with Kenyon College. AHDR members have attended several seminars in the US.
• The EU Grundtvig Program has supported exchanges between Cypriot educators and their European counterparts. AHDR members have participated in several such events.
• The Council of Europe continues to finances teacher-training workshops in Cyprus, organized in cooperation with the AHDR.
• Fredrich Ebert Stiftung/Ikme Bilban co-financed the the 7 – 8 May 2010 Symposium ‘What Does it Mean to Think Historically: 6 Years on’.
