Workshop on September 27th: Moderating Tools for a Democratic and Anti-racist Education

On Monday 26 September, the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR) is launching the newly produced ‘Anti-racist Educational Materials’! These were produced in collaboration with German NGO Gesicht Zeigen!.

Florian Lutz from Gesicht Zeigen! will be facilitating a workshop the day after the launch on Tuesday 27 September on 'Moderating Tools for a Democratic and Anti-racist Education'. Florian Lutz works at the exhibition 7xjung established by Gesicht Zeigen! in the fields of workshop consultation and coordination. He organizes and conducts trainings for educators both about the topics related to anti-discrimination and anti-bias and about interactive teaching methods.

The NGO Gesicht Zeigen! Für ein weltoffenes Deutschland (Show your Face! For an open-minded Germany) is a German organization, founded in 2000 in Berlin. Their intention is to encourage people to stand up against racism, antisemitism, right-wing extremism and discrimination of all kinds. The organization initiates public campaigns in favour of civil courage and also focuses on educational programs that support respect and reduce prejudices.
